Brockley and Edinburgh


Brockley was poised to explode with springtime, although the weather conspired to delay it a little. Britain had just finished the wettest 12 months since records had begun in the 18th century.
Connie and her colleague had created last autumn a magnificent puppet theater and cast. Click on the image at left to see it full size.

I spent the weekend with Liz and Richard Ribchester at their country home in Aberdour, north of Edinburgh, on the Firth. Lucy was home on spring break from her studies at St. Andrews, and her glittering presence more than outweighed the gray skies.
